1. Install
Install Luxe from the Shopify App Store and approve the permissions. Luxe asks only for what its features use:

You start on Luxe Starter. To compare plans, open Billing > Compare plans; plan changes happen on Shopify's own plan page.
2. Enable the app embed
The app embed loads the bundle set builder, the rewards bar and the cart drawer on your storefront.
- In Luxe, open Settings. The App embed section shows the status for your live theme.
- Select Turn on in theme editor (on Home's setup guide: Enable in theme editor). The theme editor opens on App embeds with Luxe selected.
- Switch it on and select Save.
Home's setup guide shows the same link. With the embed off your theme and checkout keep working and every product stays purchasable; see Troubleshooting.
3. Choose a cart experience
In Settings > Storefront > Cart mode:
- Theme cart with the Rewards bar (default): your theme's cart stays, and you place the Rewards bar block where you want ladder progress, in the theme editor. On the cart page, Luxe adds Edit set to each set line by itself. A theme's own cart drawer takes no app blocks: for rewards, gift choice and grouped sets inside the drawer, use the Luxe cart drawer. No theme code is needed either way.
- Luxe cart drawer: a slide-out drawer that groups set lines, shows rewards progress and gift choices, and offers Edit set on every set.
4. Create your first bundle set
- Open Bundle sets and select Create bundle set. Start from a template (Popular templates such as Build a box, Buy X get Y free, Starter set + choose N, Mix & match collection with tray, Build your bundle, unlock more and Fixed set, a goal such as Let shoppers choose, or the Industry filter, each with a storefront preview), or start from scratch.
- Buy X get Y free is a good first bundle set: six slots, the last three free.
- Under Set product, pick an existing product or create one. The set product is the one shoppers add to cart; it must be a normal product, not a Shopify native bundle, and must not require a subscription.
- Under the slot group, choose where picks come from: a collection, a list of variants or a tag.
- Check Preview. It shows what checkout will charge, the value, and the price for shoppers who buy without choosing (the set product's price). If they differ, one button in the Preview aligns them.
- Set Status to Active and save. Luxe sets the set product to Active and publishes it to your Online Store, so shoppers can open and buy it. Luxe only ever publishes its own set products.

5. Place the bundle set builder
- In the bundle set editor, open Go live and select Add to theme. The theme editor opens on the set's product page with the Bundle set builder block added.
- Save in the theme editor. On the set's own product page the block finds the bundle set by itself; there is nothing to set.
- Back in Luxe, select Check again: every line of Go live reads Done once the bundle set is active, its product is on the Online Store, the app embed is on and the block is on the page. Preview on store shows the page even while the product is a draft. If the Online Store line reads To do, select Publish now.
Layout and the set's own words (heading, button, Included lines) are in the bundle set editor's Display card. Shop-wide words are in Settings > Storefront > Storefront words: the words you set there show in your primary language, and Words for sets each other language's own words; leave a field blank to keep Luxe's wording in that language. A set's own words in the bundle set editor show in every language.
6. Check it on your storefront
Open the product page, fill the slots, add the set to cart and go to checkout. The checkout total matches the builder's price. Place a test order with Shopify's Bogus Gateway if you like: test orders appear under Billing and are never billed. Analytics leaves test orders out unless Settings > Data and integrations > Analytics > Include test orders in Analytics is on; on a development store, where every checkout is a test order, it starts on. While it is on, every Analytics and Home view carries an Includes test orders badge, and billing is unchanged.
