Gift box ideas, by category.
A gift box builder lets the giver choose what goes in the box: a build-a-box bundle where each slot is a gift, sold as one set at one price. Luxe runs gift boxes on the Build-your-own set in the Box layout, sells ready-made gift sets as Fixed sets, and adds a gift with purchase through the rewards ladder, all priced by one engine from the builder to Shopify checkout.
Gift buyers decide quickly, and often on a phone. The Box layout shows the box filling as they pick, the item picker opens as a sheet, and the price, the value and the saving update with every pick. Edit set in the Luxe cart drawer reopens the box with the picks kept, and Share this set copies a link that reopens the same build.

- Turn on the app embedIn Luxe, Settings opens the theme editor on App embeds with Luxe selected. Switch it on and save; your theme's code is never edited.
- Start from a gifting templateBundle sets > Create bundle set. Build a box, Gift box: choose three, Build a Hamper and Holiday gift set are among the eight gifting templates.
- Choose the Box layoutIn the set's Display card, Box shows an illustrated box that fills as slots are picked. Add to theme places the builder on the set's product page.
- Add the gift with purchaseRewards > Create ladder from the Black Friday gift ladder or Tiered gifts template, with a start and an end date for the season.

Gift boxes questions, briefly.
Can the giver choose every item in the gift box?
Yes, with a Build-your-own set: name each slot, choose the products it draws from, and the giver fills them. For a box you curate, use a Fixed set.
Can gift wrap or a card be added?
Yes. Put a box or a card in the set as an item included free, or offer gift wrap in the Luxe cart drawer as a Gift-ready add-on, never ticked for the shopper.
Can a free gift come with the order?
Yes. A rewards ladder offers a free gift the shopper chooses once the order reaches your threshold, applied at checkout by the Luxe Rewards discount.
What happens when an item in the box sells out?
It shows as sold out in the picker, and the box's default picks move to the next available item. Orders take stock from the items in the box.
Can a gift box be a subscription?
Not today. Bundle sets sell as one-time purchases.
Can a gift season start and end on time?
Yes. A rewards ladder takes a start and an end date, so a gift with purchase begins and ends on its own. Bundle sets stay live until you deactivate them.
Do gift boxes work with my theme?
Yes. Luxe adds app blocks and one app embed in the theme editor of an Online Store 2.0 theme, and never edits your theme's code.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Luxe Starter is free with one active bundle set and one rewards ladder. Growth is $29 a month and Pro $79 a month, each with a 14-day trial and a fee per Luxe order after the 100 included.
